Ride Information

For your Ride Comfort

Helmets, over-vests and gloves are supplied (H&S - helmet liner, neck tubes and cotton inner gloves to be used) and for the colder days, riding aprons to help protect the legs
For the ride, please wear long pants and enclosed footwear. Long sleeves are recommended.
Bring along your camera, a wrist strap is advisable
Winter update - the longer the tour the more layers should be worn, layering clothes rather than just a heavy jacket can keep you warmer

Rules - there have to be a few....

The rider of a trike must not ride with a passenger unless the passenger is wearing an approved motorcycle helmet
The trike can only carry 2 passengers
Children must be aged 8 or over (RMS NSW regulations)
All children under 16 years on a trike must be accompanied by an adult
There is a passenger weight restriction of 200kg for the trikes
Passengers will be given a pre-ride briefing prior to the tour
It is at the discretion of the ride leader to refuse passage to anyone who is under the influence of alcohol or is abusive or rude
The driver will assess each passenger and if the driver deems the passenger unsuitable to ride for a logical reason, that passenger will be refused travel

Assurances

In the event of government direction, bad weather or unsuitable road conditions, you will be informed that the ride should be rescheduled
You will receive a full refund if the ride cannot be rescheduled
Wet weather clothing is carried on all rides in case of unexpected rain
KVTT is authorised by NSW Transport, Point to Point, to provide a transport service - BSP-412249
KVTT has full comprehensive insurance for the trike
KVTT has separate public liability insurance
